In three exclusive videos, from IBBF pro bodybuilder Rene Campbell, she shows us how to get that perfect "Shredded" look with your abdominal muscles.
In the first video Rene talks about transfers. The idea behind transfers is that you work the abs from the inside out. If you get your core really strong from the inside the rest will follow. This tip is important because it will keep the waist tight and your body supported. A strong core including your lower back will ensure the rest of the exercises you do in the gym are controlled and you will have good form.
In the second video the focus is on small movements such as ab crunches. You need to concentrate on the abdominal muscles and use your breathing to control the exercises aswell. On the way out you breathe out and really squeeze and contract the abs.
And finally Rene shares with us the importance of nutrition to get the perfect shredded look. Your nutrition needs to be controlled and you need to think about what you are eating. To acheive the shredded look you need to make sure your diet is clean, get rid of saturated fats and make sure you are eating healthy all the time. You want to get rid of the unwanted fat in your body/stomach and your abs will show through. If you are training properly in the gym every exercise you do should use your core. You should train all areas of your abs including the upper and lower sections.
